Abu-Ghazaleh Receives Representative of ICT Sector at Jordan Chamber of Commerce

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), received in his office the representative of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Sector at Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Eng. Haitham Al-Rawajbeh, to discuss several ICT topics including digital transformation, and e-learning.

During the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh informed hid guest that he had previously called for prompt formal actions to encourage technological and e-transformation due to the fact that the whole world today is embracing rapid technological changes. 

Elaborating on one of TAG.Global’s initiatives enhancing digital transformation, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh said that TAG.Global has established the first university of its kind in the world that grants digital academic degrees based on graduates' inventions. He pointed out that digital corporations would become the global wealth generators. As proof of that he reminded of  the fact that the world’s top 5-companies are digital technological businesses.

Regarding the importance of digital transformation to the Arab countries, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh affirmed that TAG.Global strives to  cooperate constantly with the League of the Arab States to implement the digital transformation project at the Arab-regional level to disseminate learning culture digitally.

For his part, Al-Rawajbeh noted that the digital transformation process in all fields whether in education, economy or others, has become an urgent need and an inevitable reality that should be addressed especially in light of the challenges and difficulties imposed by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
