Abu-Ghazaleh: AROQA and MASA Cooperate in Education Quality and School Classification

AMMAN - The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA) and MASA for International Exams (MIE) signed an agreement to cooperate in the provision of quality education services, and in creating an integrated academic and professional school classification system.

The agreement was signed by AROQA Executive Director, Mr. Yaser Al Nadi, and MIE General Manager, Dr. Majed Hamad.

HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, AROQA chairman, stated that AROQA seeks to develop and improve the education level of all educational institutions in the Arab region, affirming its keenness on keeping pace with all professional, practical and scientific developments, in accordance with the highest international standards that are strongly heading towards knowledge-based digital learning.

For his part, Dr. Hamad expressed his gratitude for cooperating with AROQA to ensure the quality of education, and he warmly thanked Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh for his constant efforts in promoting quality education in the Arab world. He further pointed out that the purpose of signing such an agreement is to collaborate with a specialized organization that assists in building an integrated classification system for educational institutions, in accordance with the latest global classification standards, as well as to conform with the requirements, quality assurance, accreditation, consulting and capacity-building services in quality education.

Through this cooperation, the two parties endeavor to offer school classification services by developing a school classification project in Jordan, to be submitted to the Jordanian Ministry of Education, with the assistance of specialized experts and consultants. That is, in addition, to developing a draft for school classification criteria and indicators. The draft would be reviewed by consultants from both sides for finalization, and for preparing the supplementary technical and financial proposal.

It is worth mentioning that the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA) is an international non-profit independent association founded in 2007 in Belgium. Its main objective is to promote the quality of higher education with a particular focus on the Arab world.

MASA for International Exams (MIE) is a multiregional company specialized in applying consultations, studies and classification systems for educational institutions mainly universities and schools, and the public and private companies inside and outside Jordan, in addition to conducting international exams and specialized training courses.
