To preserve Arabic language and identity ‘Abu-Ghazaleh Electronic Arabic Encyclopedia’ Continues its Work to Finalize the Arabic Digital Content

AMMAN - The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Electronic Arabic Encyclopedia (TAGEPEDIA), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), carries on its work in enriching the Arabic digital content on the Internet, with the aim of preserving the identity of  the Arabic language and culture, as well as for promoting the exchange and dissemination of information, in Arabic language, in various aspects of knowledge.

TAGEPEDIA is keen on spreading the scope of teaching the Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers, it continuously updates Arabic  dictionaries and linguistic terminology.So far 3750-terms here been classified alphabetically, to allow users to easily browse and access every word. 

TAGEPEDIA is one of several initiatives launched by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.Global, to protect the Arabic language, considering that he has issued a number of Arabic dictionaries relating to several professions including accounting, intellectual property, law, and information technology. He also initiated the literacy project in Palestine, and the teaching of Arabic language in China among other pioneering initiatives.

TAGEPEDIA content has already exceeded more than one million and 200 thousand amended and reviewed articles in all human, scientific and medical fields. It also contains twelve main classifications including (Applied Sciences, Pure Sciences, Social Sciences, Literature, Arts, History, Geography, Psychology, Philosophy, Languages, Religions and Arab Women in Leadership).

Furthermore, the TAGEPEDIA team constantly aims at posting accurate articles reviewed by experts in writing Arab content, as required, taking into account that each article passes through various vetting stages: beginning by selecting the intended information  from reliable sources, then it is checked by experts who insure compatibility with copyright laws, before posting the material into Tagepedia.

TAGEPEDIA staff believe that intellectual property is the creation of human mind; therefore, the rights of the original author and other rights are well preserved. Tagepedia also receives contributions from writers, scientists, experts, consultants, and specialists to enrich the content and improve its quality.

It is worth mentioning that TAGEPEDIA’s content will be available and directed to specialists, school and university students, as well as those interested in various aspects of knowledge which will be categorized into four main fields covering: General Knowledge, Personalities, Historical Events and World Regions.
