‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital Academy’ and ‘Bright Engineers’ Accredit Omareyah International Schools for Teaching Digital Innovation

AMMAN – In accordance with a joint cooperation agreement between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital Academy (TAG-Academy.Global), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), and ‘Bright Engineers’, the Omareyah International Schools have been accredited to teach innovation programs within a strategic partnership agreement that aims at investing in youth capacities at an early age.

Through this cooperation, a set of digital innovation programs will be implemented through the ‘Junior Digital Innovator’ training program; the first of its kind to be conducted in the region at both the basic and the advanced levels. The program targets school students aged between (11-16) years by providing them with the required technological and technical skills to produce innovative and entrepreneurial projects.

The accreditation aims to raise the students’ awareness and to sharpen their skills, as well as boosting their productive and innovative capacities through several training programs related to Intellectual Property (IP), Patents, Robotic Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Engineering Technology. At the end of the training, students would be awarded with an accredited innovator certificate. In addition, schools will be granted the accreditation for teaching Digital Innovation Programs.

During the signing ceremony, Dr. Hisham Abdul Muti, director general of Al Omareyah Schools, commended the significant role played by “TAG-Academy.Global” and Bright Engineers in their pursuit of discovering and improving students’ digital and technological capacities so that they can achieve the desired goals in creating an Arab industry that contributes to the production of technological innovation.

For his part, Dr. Majed Hamad, Bright Engineers general manager, stressed the importance of granting such an accreditation as it enhances the Omareyah Schools efforts in motivating and promoting the concepts of technological innovation and creativity. 

Dr. Hamad underlined the importance of academic accreditation to schools in their ongoing quest to raise awareness and empower students with modern critical thinking skills, creativity, and problem solving in line with the school's vision of developing a generation of distinguished leaders in all fields.

TAG-Academy.Global Executive Director, Mr. Hamza Arabiyat, stated that the launch of such a program aims at building capacities and preparing students for the challenges of the digital world that are founded on utilizing AI standards and indicators, in addition to creating an attractive environment for innovation. He added that the innovation programs were developed and prepared in accordance with the highest quality standards by trained and qualified experts to enable learners to acquire the technical and technological skills needed to deliver innovative projects.

He further pointed out that the innovation programs indicate the keenness of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.Global, in this age group for their effective role in making a better future.
