‘Abu-Ghazaleh’ and the Catholic Center for Studies & Media Organize “Let’s Celebrate Christmas” Festivity

AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum (TAG-KF), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), in cooperation with the Catholic Center for Studies and Media organized a concert entitled “Let’s Celebrate Christmas” on the occasion of Christmas and the New Year. The concert was performed by the Choir of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, under the patronage of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.Global, in the presence of Fr. Rifaat Bader,  director general of the Center.

The ceremony was attended by a limited number of Christian and community religious figures in compliance with the Defense Orders issued by the government in order to curb the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The Choir of the Sacred Heart of Jesus - directed by Maestro Faris Abasi- performed some of the famous Christmas songs.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride in patronizing such an annual religious ceremony organized by the Forum, highlighting the unprecedented level of coexistence and normal brotherly relations in Jordan between Muslims and Christians under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein.

On this occasion, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year for all.

For his part, Fr. Rifaat Bader praised the significant role played by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh globally through spreading values of love and peace in the community, commending his keenness on celebrating Christmas every year at the Forum’s premises; in addition to his support for the Choir of the Sacred Heart of Jesus by offering its members 35 TAG Tablet DC devices manufactured by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech). This makes the Choir the first chorale in Jordan to recite its songs digitally instead of using papers, which makes it more ‘environment friendly’ group of choristers.

Meanwhile, TAG-Forum Executive Director, Mr. Fadi Daoud, welcomed the participant, underlining the importance of hosting this festivity organized every year at the Forum which signifies love, coexistence, and fraternity in our society.
