Qatar Academy - Al Wakra Digitally Hosted a lecture by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh on ‘Importance of Determination and Challenges As Keys to Success’

DOHA - The Qatar Academy - Al Wakra (QAW), a Pre-University Education (PUE) in Qatar Foundation (QF), hosted HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), in an online talking event with 4th grade students. 

The event was meant to be part of the Academy’s curriculum; a part that addresses Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s life story in two units, namely, “Migration, its Causes and Impact on Humans” and “Business and Economics”. For this purpose, the Academy collected information about Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s life achievements especially his business and professional journey, and shared it with students, as a live example and a proof of the importance of challenge and determination as main drivers for achieving success. 

The QAW’s educational system includes a variety of teaching subjects, mainly those reviewing the experience of a global public personality that motivates students towards success and excellence in areas that promote community building. 

During Dr. Abu Ghazale’s talk, more than 100 students attended, discussing his life journey, from his displacement from Palestine and the challenges he experienced in his childhood, to lessons he learned during his spectacular career, to provide them with a model to follow.

mDr. Abu-Ghazaleh described his, meeting with the students ass one of the most enjoyable experiences he had, despite the many and various meetings he participate in. “This meeting with the future generation could only be described as a dialogue with the future”, he said.

Qatar Foundation (QF)
