Abu-Ghazaleh Receives Libya’s Cultural Attaché in Amman

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), received in his office the Cultural Attaché at the Libyan Embassy in Amman, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mahdi Al-Dweik, and Mr. Jalal Al-Alem, Director of Public Relations at the Embassy. The two sides discussed means of cooperation in the fields of technology, innovation, education and capacity building. 

During the meeting, Dr. Ahmad Al-Mahdi Al-Dweik spoke about the latest partnerships Libya has established with the Government of Jordan in education, quality, crisis management and technology. He further expressed Libya’s willingness to invest in the youth capacities through  collaboration between TAG.Global and the Libyan institutions in order to foster innovation and to support innovators by investing in their talents and skills, particularly in the fields of quality, innovation, and digital transformation. Dr. Al-Dweik sought the  establishment of a branch of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) in Libya to graduate inventors.

For his part, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh commended the role and the tireless efforts of Libyan Cultural Attaché in Jordan and his keenness to benefit Libyan students by providing them with the best educational tools; which is evident in the agreements signed between Jordan and Libya.

Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh underlined the deep-rooted relations that bind the two countries and their peoples, praising Libya's advanced level in the use of technology, scientific research, and development, as well as its ability to overcome crises, adversity and all other challenges.

“The establishment of a creative environment plays a significant role in creating innovators and creators, where the world's greatest innovators have managed to excel because of such an environment” Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh said. At the same time, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed the readiness of TAG.Global to support the Libyan educational process through its various fields and services.
