As a result of war on the country Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and Syria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Discuss Means of Countering War Economic Impact on the country

DAMASCUS – Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, HE Dr. Faisal Mekdad, received HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) at the Ministry, where they discussed cooperation to confront the negative effects on the Syrian economy as a result of the decade-long war.

Dr. Mekdad stressed that Syria has been fighting terrorism and paid unprecedented human, economic and social costs to realize this mission, noting that all the Syrian people are currently under economic siege.

He added that the Syrian government has always been open to all sincere and impartial political initiatives or efforts that could help it get out of this crisis which has targeted Syria and its people.

For his part, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stated that digital transformation is the future and the optimum tool to confront what Syria is experiencing, pointing to TAG.Global’s readiness to provide digital transformation services to the Ministry, through Syrian embassies spread around the world.
