‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global’ and Amman Arab University Discuss Cooperation

AMMAN - Representatives of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) and Amman Arab University (AAU) discussed means of cooperation between the two sides in conducting several initiatives to serve students and members of the local community in the areas of knowledge promotion, technology and capacity-building.

During the meeting, held at the AAU’s premises, the two parties discussed cooperation with the International Arab Society of Certified Accountants (IASCA) in the fields of training, capacity building, as well as an initiative to develop field training for students to obtain professional certificates such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate and others.

They also discussed the potential of introducing an applied specialty in the field of accounting that meets the needs of Jordanian students and Arabs; and they reviewed possible collaboration with the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA) with the aim of promoting higher and university education, emphasizing the importance of the “Reviewer of Quality Assurance in Education” certificate, as well as cooperating with AROQA’s Arab Journal of Quality of Education.

TAG.Global’s delegates further briefed the attendees on the role Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Stations play in the Jordanian universities, stating that they offer 500 training programs to serve communities in line with the vision of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG.Global founder and chairman. 

Meanwhile, the participants praised the importance of fighting digital illiteracy; through the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Diploma in IT Skills, and the purchase of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech) technological products; including the TAG-Edu smart Bag and a series of publications including dictionaries and books. In addition to joining a set of digital innovation programs; such as the ‘Junior Digital Innovator’ and ‘Junior Digital Broadcaster’ training programs.

For their part, the University’s team commended the services provided by TAG.Global and its leading role in economy, education and intellectual property, affirming the University’s keenness to strengthen cooperation in order to achieve the goals of the two parties in providing distinguished services to students and members of the local community.
