Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh Receives Al-Azhar University-Gaza Board of Trustees Chairman

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has received in his office Dr. Khalil Abou Foul, chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al Azhar University-Gaza, to discuss cooperation in a number of educational projects, technological, and training exchange of expertise.

During the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh condoned and committed to the necessary support for Al Azhar University-Gaza as well as for serving the Palestinian people wherever they are located, in addition to collaborating to develop technical education and to promote the level of academic scientific research in Palestine.

For his part, Dr. Abou Foul expressed his appreciation for TAG.Global’s outstanding level, affirming the keenness of Al Azhar University’s Board of Trustees to foster cooperation and exchange expertise between the two sides. He further extended his sincere gratitude to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh and his global organization.

The two sides also agreed to sign agreements between the University and a number of TAG.Global professional firms chaired by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, including the International Arab Society for Certified Accountants (IASCA) in the area of academic and professional certificates which will be conducted at the University. That is in addition to taking advantage of the digital transformation programs offered by TAG.Global, and discussing the University's compliance with the standards of Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA) to obtain its Quality in Education Certificate and to give it the full support in this regard, in addition to linking the University to the Arab States Research and Education Network (ASREN), and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Electronic Arabic Encyclopedia (TAGEPEDIA).

Moreover, the two parties discussed other topics for collaboration mainly in teaching digital programs, providing the University with TAG-EDU laptops; manufactured and produced by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech), and supporting the University’s Engineering and Information Technology Faculty with technological devices from TAGTech products, as well as developing the laboratories of the scientific faculties.
