Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh Delivers Opening Remarks at the ‘2023 Education Conference’ in Kuwait

Held under the theme ‘Investment in Human Capital: A Sustainable Education Priority’

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has participated in the ‘2023 Education Conference’ held in Kuwait under the theme ‘Investment in Human Capital: A Sustainable Education Priority’, under the patronage of HE Dr. Hamad Al-Adwani, Kuwaiti Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research.

During the event, participants discussed the latest education developments, its field applications and mechanisms, and they shared success educational stories at regional and international levels. 

In his conveyed digitally opening remarks, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh asserted the importance of education as the only catalyst for boosting nations, noting that digital transformation necessitates shifting from teaching to learning in order to create distinguished generations capable of embracing creativity and keeping pace with the rapid changes in this era.

He added that the youth are the source of creativity, talent, and energy that could be invested in to make a change in introducing a new model of educational systems that are based on authentic learning and innovation.

Recommendations at the end of the Conference focused on urging all educational institutions, research centers, and concerned government authorities and education decision-makers to adopt the theme ‘Investment in Human Capital is a Sustainable Educational Priority’. They also called for enhancing educational partnerships and alliances and connecting them to innovation platforms, developing infrastructure, as well as providing the required networks to use technology in general, and geographic information systems (GIS) in particular.

The participants further affirmed the importance of holding the Conference annually to develop education systems and to boost key education indicators in the Arab countries and to achieve the sustainable development goals.
