Abu-Ghazaleh and Ireland Ambassador to Jordan Discuss Means of Enhancing Cultural Relations

AMMAN - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has received in his office the Ambassador of Ireland to Jordan HE Ms. Marianne Bolger to discuss cultural cooperation, particularly in the area of youth education. 

During the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh commended the strong education system in Ireland and highly praised the Ambassador’s efforts in strengthening relations between the two countries.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh briefed the Ambassador on the latest achievements made by TAG.Global starting with the establishment of TAGEPEDIA Knowledge Project; the first-of-its-kind educational system in the world that constitutes a digital educational multilingual encyclopedia for learners around the world in all fields. He also touched upon the achievements of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech), a member of TAG.Global, in manufacturing devices including laptops, tablets and smartphones with high-tech specifications at competitive prices. 

For her part, Ambassador Bolger expressed her appreciation and acknowledgment of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s efforts in various fields, particularly in business and education globally. She explained the Irish initiative:‘Jordan Young Scientist’, a national project with the aim of motivating young students to benefit from their abilities in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), as the foundation of all aspects of human development, economic growth and world progress. The initiative was established in Jordan in cooperation between the Irish Embassy in Amman, with the partnership with a number of Jordanian institutions, she said.
