‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global’ and PEDAGOGY Launch Smart School Bag in Lebanon
BEIRUT - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Lebanese Portal of Education, Development, Accreditation, and Technology (PEDAGOGY) Consulting Firm – which specializes in the development of interactive e-education curricula. The MoU aims to enhance cooperation in the integration of digital content and e-schoolbooks in applications compatible with smart devices manufactured by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech), a member of TAG.Global.
Through such collaboration, TAG.Global seeks to contribute to accelerating the implementation of a digital transformation process in Lebanon by providing smart gadgets, the necessary communication tools, and cutting-edge digital resources such as interactive digital school programs. This also includes training activities, assessments, visual illustrations, and other PEDAGOGY offers. It also ensures the availability, for all school subjects from kindergarten to grade 9, of a total of 128 e-books.
On this occasion, TAG.Global Chair of Group Management Board, Mr. Salah Abu Osbeh, stressed that this agreement reflects the vision of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.Global, in developing a digital learning process that will create an innovative generation.
He further affirmed that the agreement will cover the provision of all specialized digital training courses introduced by PEDAGOGY to be part of the training programs and diplomas offered by the recently-launched Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Digital Training Platform (TAG.Global Digital Training).
For his part, PEDAGOGY Co-founder and General Manager, Mr. Hani Hamed, expressed his pride in signing the MoU with TAG.Global, affirming that this step will be the basis in creating an integrated learning environment that can be consistently improved and developed in Lebanon and around the globe.
Mr. Hamed added that the PEDAGOGY digital curricula contribute to raising a generation which is capable of solving problems and keeping pace with the era of innovation and artificial intelligence (AI). He also pointed out that e-learning will save time, effort as well as book-printing expenses, making it necessary to replace them with interactive digital tools in line with the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
It is worth mentioning that the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech) has started two years ago manufacturing electronic devices including laptops, tablets, smartphones, and other technological devices, at its factories in China Egypt, and Jordan by Jordanian experts specialized in the manufacturing and production field, offered in more than 50-locations worldwide.
