Embassy of Ireland in Amman Commends Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh for Supporting ‘Jordan Young Scientists’ Exhibition

‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global’, a Partner at the Initiative’s Exhibition

AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) has contributed to the Jordan Young Scientists (JoYS) National Exhibition 2023, organized by the Irish Embassy in Amman by providing 63 technological devices presented to the outstanding students participating in the initiative.

TAG.Global’s devices; manufactured and produced by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech), a member of TAG.Global included 21 laptops, 21 tablets, and 21 smartphones, with a total value of about JD15,000. This contribution serves as part of the Organization’s primary mission in supporting young people with the aim of sharpening their skills and capacities in various fields. 

During the event, the Irish Ambassador to Jordan, HE Ms. Marianne Bolger, praised HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG.Global founder and chairman, as one of the major supporters to education and youth sectors, highly commending his efforts in discovering early age youth talents and turning their ideas into real projects by instilling the concept of entrepreneurship and innovation.

The JoYS Initiative aims to increase student’s uptake and interest for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and highlight their projects and dedication on a national level. This initiative was initially launched in Ireland 60 years ago, and it was launched in Jordan in 2022, to serve as an important platform for young scientists to show their potential and pave the way for a brighter future.

It is worth mentioning that 357 talented students from 68 schools across the Kingdom participated in the exhibition, organized at Al Hussein Technical University (HTU), located at the King Hussein Business Park. The students showcased their innovative projects in various STEM disciplines.
