‘Abu-Ghazaleh Consult’ and Jordan University of Science & Technology Sign Cooperation Agreement
AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. Consulting (TAG-Consult), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has igned a cooperation memorandum with the Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST) to enhance the active and positive partnership between the two parties, attributed to their belief in the importance of effective cooperation in achieving both national and institutional goals.
The memorandum was signed by TAG-Consult Executive Director, representing TAG.Global, Eng. Ibrahim Abu Naffa, and JUST Vice President, Prof. Muna Abu-Dalo, representing the University President, Prof. Dr. Khaled Al Salem.
The signed agreement aims to share the expertise of the two parties, as well as supporting joint cooperation frameworks in the mechanism of developing scientific research, entrepreneurship and innovation. That is in addition to strengthening cooperation in trademark registration, e-archiving systems, and financial systems development among other services.
During the signing ceremony, Eng. Abu Naffa stated that TAG.Global, in line with the directives of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG.Global founder and chairman, believes in the importance of partnership among academic institutions to achieve future goals and aspirations. He added that Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh guided all TAG.Global’s experts toward achieving the goals of this partnership, praising the University's pioneering and distinguished experiences at various levels.
Eng. Abu Naffa further pointed to the keenness of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh to support the shift towards digital learning; considering it a human right that allows individuals to get the best methods and techniques of learning, enabling them to become creative and innovative students.
He also praised the University's role in providing the Jordanian labor market with the necessary skilled and qualified workforce, in addition to its great efforts in enhancing the learning environment, expressing TAG.Global’s readiness to cooperate with the University in order to strengthen the partnership between academia and private sector.
Additionally, Eng. Abu Naffa affirmed TAG.Global’s willingness to devote all its resources in various economic, social, environmental and development fields, and to prepare specialized studies in this regard in accordance with the goals of the two parties and the national interests.
For her part, Dr. Abu-Dalo stated that the agreement was signed to further support the fruitful cooperation with the vast experience of the national institutions, emphasizing the University’s keenness to develop diverse skills and experiences, as well as to build necessary bridges of cooperation and success to accomplish the goals of both parties in a mechanism that serves the best interest of the country.
