Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh: AROQA and Master Minds Cooperate to Develop Teachers’ Performance in International Programs
AMMAN - The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA), has signed a cooperation agreement with the Amman-based Master Minds Center; a prestigious educational center that serves students in both national and international streams.
During the signing ceremony, HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, AROQA chairman, stated that this cooperation demonstrates the Organization’s eagerness in expanding its expertise to effectively promote the quality of training and capacity-building services in education field. Additionally, he pointed out that such cooperation aims to exchange expertise in accreditation, as well as organizing and holding courses and training programs and improving teachers' performance in international programs.
The agreement was signed by Eng. Zaid Murad, director general of the Center, and Dr. Maria Tawalbeh, AROQA executive director, in the presence of representatives from both parties.
For her part, Dr. Tawalbeh stated that cooperation involves holding training programs, organizing joint events and workshops to raise awareness and share knowledge related to international programs, and collaborating on conducting the ‘Reviewer of Quality Assurance in Education’ capacity building program. She added that those enrolled in such training programs will receive certificates accredited by AROQA and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (TAG-EDUQA).
On the other hand, Eng. Murad expressed his pride and gratitude for this cooperation, affirming its importance in serving the two parties' goals for promoting the performance of teachers, building their capacities, and sharpening their skills to improve the quality of education and to achieve educational excellence.
It is worth mentioning that the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA) is an international non-profit organization founded in 2007, in Belgium. Its main objective is to promote the quality of higher education in general, with a particular focus on the Arab world, under the honorary chairmanship of the Secretary-General of the Arab League.
