President of the Lebanese Association for Charitable Educational and Cultural Renewal Honors Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh
BEIRUT – The President of the Lebanese Association for Charitable Educational and Cultural Renewal (ALREC), Ms. Rima Younes, has honored HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), during a lunch at El Comandante restaurant in the presence of the Minister of Information, Eng. Ziad Al Makary, Ministry of Information General Director, Dr. Hassan Falha, Representative of Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Culture and Media in Lebanon, Mr. Burhan Al Ashkar, Secretary of the Higher Education Council, Dr. Hurriyah Baz, TAG.Global Lebanon Office’s Consulting Director, Dr. Manal Khater, the Information Minister’s Advisor, Mr. Misbah Al Ali, Founder and CEO of GroWithus, Ms. Viviane Al Hassanieh, and Student Affairs Officer at the Arab Open University, Ms. Rana Haider, in addition to Drs. Crystal Hanna, Rida Shams Al Din, Laila Shams Al Din, and Mr. Theodore Al Makary.
During the honoring event, which was held in recognition of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh's inspiring career journey, Ms. Younes stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the Ministry of Information and Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, describing him as the man who does not believe of the “impossible”. This is in order to carry out future projects in the training and capacity-building fields that would effectively contribute to educational and cultural advancement despite all the challenges and difficulties Lebanon has been experiencing.
“Our gathering today, under the Minister’s patronage of some of our activities, and our ongoing cooperation with TAG.Global, is a clear evidence of Lebanon's presence on the media and cultural map,” she said.
During the gathering, Eng. Makary presented an honorary shield of appreciation to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh for his contributions to the development of the Arab and Lebanese communities.
Additionally, the Minister wrote a note in the Association’s Golden Record highlighting Dr. Abu Ghazaleh's vast knowledge, and thanking Ms. Younis for organizing the event.
