Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh Hospitalized Due to an Accident in the Hotel, Expresses Gratitude for all Those who Contacted Him
HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh extends his sincere gratitude to everyone who has asked about his well-being, in-person or by calling, and would like to announce the following:
I had accidentally fallen off the chair while staying at the InterContinental Phoenicia Beirut Hotel, resulting in a fracture in my left side thigh that necessitated hospitalization and surgery to put a steel rod in my affected thigh. The surgery was successfully performed at the Clémenceau Medical Center in Beirut, where I received exceptional medical care and attention.
I am currently coordinating my return to Amman following a visit from the Hotel management to me at the the Medical Center, where I expressed my gratitude for their outstanding hospitality over the years since the Hotel was established.
In accordance with my well-known principle, I consider this incident a blessing, as I believed all along that suffering always hides a blessing, and we must always discover where the blessing is.
The blessing in this case is that I now carry a licensed weapon in my leg that I can depend upon for self-defense when needed; thereby armed with a greater sense confidence for moving forward.
I seize this opportunity to extend my sincere congratulations to every Arab for the triumph of the heroic resistance in Gaza, anticipating the downfall of the Zionist occupation and a civil war within the Entity due to its mistakes and miscalculations and the heroic performance of the Palestinian resistance fighters.
