‘Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum’ and Legal Gesture Initiative Organize ‘Lawyers of Tomorrow’ Workshop
AMMAN – Under the patronage of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum (TAG-KF) in cooperation with the Legal Gesture Initiative, has organized a specialized workshop entitled ‘Lawyers of Tomorrow’ with the participation of law students and legal interns.
The workshop, held as part of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s ongoing efforts to support the youth and their initiatives, aims to enhance the professional competencies of law students and interns, as well as to equip them with the necessary knowledge to encounter newly-emerged legal challenges across various legal fields.
During the event, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh welcomed the attendees, calling on the youth to adhere to professional ethics, work diligently, and invest more energy to achieve their dreams and ambitions. He emphasized the important role they play in driving positive change across all sectors.
For her part, Lawyer Lamis Al Jabour, leader of the Legal Gesture Initiative, affirmed that the workshop represents a significant step in developing the legal skills of law students and interns, highlighting TAG-KF’s role in fostering learning and promoting professionalism among law professionals and practitioners.
The discussion sessions included contributions from Lawyer Ramzi Al Jabour, Lawyer Sajeda Al Abbadi, Lawyer Taghreed Al Dughmi, and Lawyer Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Maharmeh, where they addressed key legal challenges, "Professional Ethics and Skills of Young Lawyers," "Emerging Legal Issues in Society," and "Legal Challenges in the Digital Age”.
It is worth mentioning that the "Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum" was founded by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh with the aim to organize events, conferences, and dialogue seminars on various issues that concern the youth, society, and decision-makers. Through collaboration with non-government organizations, research centers, and institutions, the Forum seeks to support business development and foster national and Arab economic, cultural, and educational progress.
