Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh Supports Efforts of Jordan Paralympic Committee in Digital Transformation

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD), has donated ten tablets, manufactured and produced by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech) – a member of TAG.GD, to the Jordan Paralympic Committee as part of TAG.GD’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) that supports talented individuals with disabilities and assists the Committee in furthering its efforts to empower athletes with disabilities.

The donation was presented by a delegation from TAG.GD, represented by Mr. Bader Foqaha, manager of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum (TAG-KF) during a visit to the Committee’s headquarters. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Omar Hindawi, president of the Board of the Committee, and Mr. Moataz Al-Juneidi, the Committee's secretary-general. During the event, Mr. Foqaha conveyed a verbal message from Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s to His Royal Highness Prince Ra'ad bin Zeid, Committee founder and chairman, extending his greetings and expressing his appreciation for His Highness and to the members of the Committee's Board of Directors, recognizing their significant efforts in patronizing and unlocking the sports potential of the athletes with disabilities, noting that this ongoing support has played a key role in enabling Jordanian athletes with disabilities to achieve outstanding sports accomplishments, and enhance Jordan's reputation on the global stage.

In his verbal message, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh also praised the Committee’s remarkable achievements both locally and internationally. He also emphasized that the donated devices will positively facilitate the use of technology, and enhance communication and training for the gifted athletes, highlighting the boundless capabilities of this group with special needs and the importance of supporting their efforts, and addressing the challenges they face. For his part, Prof. Dr. Hindawi expressed his sincere gratitude to TAG.GD for this initiative, affirming its ongoing contributions in the sphere of CSR and support for individuals with disabilities.
