‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital University’, Kingston and Al Rai Schools, Participate in ‘Education Strategies’ Training Course

AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital University (TAG-GDU), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD), has participated in a training course titled ‘Active Learning Strategies and Resolving Student Conflicts’ in cooperation with Kingston and Al Rai Schools, as part of the ongoing efforts to enhance an educational environment that supports students’ academic and behavioral engagement. During the course, which took place in the presence of a large number of administrators and teachers at the Kingston International Schools' auditorium, participants discussed several key topics including: Concepts and fundamentals of education and active learning, ways of their implementation, pedagogical methods of resolving students’ conflicts that promote social communication, and strategies for encouraging students to develop critical and creative thinking. Dr. Mohammed Abu Amara, general manager of Al Rai and Kingston Schools, emphasized that the course targeted teachers and administrators, offering them a range of modern pedagogical strategies that contribute to effectively enhancing better interaction between students and teachers. It also provided effective and practical solutions for managing classroom conflicts through innovative approaches. Additionally, he noted that the course included several interactive activities intended to encourage students to actively participate in classrooms and improve the overall learning environment. For her part, Ms. Yasmeen Al-Lefdawi, TAG-GDU manager, delivered a detailed presentation about TAG-GDU, highlighting its key services in digital education. She also reviewed the academic and professional programs offered, along with various educational opportunities available to students. Moreover, she highlighted the University’s strategic partnerships with several prestigious academic institutions, such as Westcliff University in the United States and Amity University in India, providing tips on the enrollment mechanisms for these programs and the benefits provided by these collaborations. It is worth mentioning that organizing the training course is part of enhancing the cooperation between the two parties to improve the educational environment, promote academic and behavioral effectiveness among students, expand the scope of digital education, and provide advanced educational opportunities that support students' aspirations in their academic and professional journeys.
