In his speech at the opening session of the Conference, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh addressed the people of Yemen, saying, “You have placed the Palestinian cause in its rightful position, setting a model in advocating the principles of freedom, dignity and independence. Your actions have demonstrated to the world that true liberation and independence can only be achieved through perseverance and struggle.”
He went on to emphasize that nations and peoples can only attain freedom through sacrifices and by paying the price for the honor of being a proud and a victorious nation.
