Egypt’s Minister of Communications Honors ‘Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Professional Training’

CAIRO - Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has presented an honorary shield to Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Professional Training Group (TAGI-Train), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD), in recognition of its efforts in supporting and implementing the ‘Qodwa-Tech’ initiative.

The shield, presented by HE Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications, was received on behalf of TAG.GD by Mr. Tareq Al Khatib, TAG.GD Cairo Office executive director.
This recognition came within the fruitful cooperation conducted between the Ministry and TAG.GD, which included organizing free sessions and workshops within the initiative targeting women entrepreneurs and founders of small and medium-sized startups to digitally empower them and improve their skills to meet the labor market needs.

The ceremony was organized by the Ministry on its auditorium at the Smart Village to honor its partners in supporting Qodwa-Tech initiative, in the presence of representatives of the main supporter of the initiative; the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the development agency of Germany, and other institutions and organizations.

Commenting on this honoring, TAG.GD Cairo Office Training Manager, Mr. Mohammad Aladin, has expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the Ministry, affirming that the participation of TAG.GD in supporting the initiative falls in line with the implementation of the directives of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG.GD founder and chairman, in supporting initiatives that empower the youth and entrepreneurs.

He pointed out that the cooperation included the provision of special training to the participating women in the initiative, mainly on protecting trademarks presented by experts from Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) – Cairo Branch.
